Me getting broody holding new baby Ellie

It has been a tough old time this past week. Eden had some blood test to try to discover why she is always so sick, it makes me feel bad for her cos she is such a smiley, happy child but get's ill so much it is like punishment for being so happy. I can't stand it.

In other news we have a walker now, even though crawling is still her preference she has been doing a bit more day by day. I am sooo proud! Having said that she has been inverting one of her feet when walking so has to have an XRay to check her hips etc.. (See what I mean!)

Does your child get sick a lot? I would love to hear.

New Toy

I recently got the Holga 135BC toy camera and I love it!! I took some shots of Eden over the park and I love how imperfect the pictures come out.

Our London weekend

Well were back!

So much fun was had as we spent the weekend in London visiting my husbands family as it was Eden's cousin Lillie's second birthday. It was great because we also got to meet the new addition to the family baby Ellie :o) The 3 little girls; Eden, Lillie and Ellie only have 2 years between the 3 of them so I am sure they will be great friends as they grow up.

As London is a 4 hour drive away I was a little worried that Eden would get bored on the journey but she did well and slept for a lot of the way.

From suck to cup

We have been introducing a cup to Eden's bedtime routine over the past few nights and it's going ok. 

She has been using her sippy cup and straw cup for ages through the day for her water but up until now her milk has been in a bottle.

Well Eden your a big girl now so no more bottles for you!

Breaking News

So no picture/video evidence as of yet but Eden only went and took her first step's tonight.

Yaaaaayyy!

I am bursting with pride right now.

New Pushchair

Yipeee we have a new pushchair for Eden :o)

I have wanted one for ages. Since the tyre bust on her original Quinny pushchair I made do with a cheapo buggy which has been great for a good few months. Well one of the tyre areas has gone rusty and she is looking a bit big for it now so we invested in the Graco Mirage pushchair. I'm really happy with it because we got an ex display model in perfect condition at half price and it has a full recline which I am sure she will love.
