New Year, New Milestones

I think we probably had the best Christmas we have ever had together as a couple, and the first one as what felt like, a proper family. It feels like Eden has developed a lot since my husband and I have been off work and with her 24-7, or maybe we have just noticed it more. Anyhow she has been so happy, smiley, funny I feel so proud that I have a happy baby. She still won't walk, and just refuses point blank, she is so much happier on all fours, but she has been practising standing and sitting down lately which is hilarious to watch. The standing up part, she has down to a fine art now, but the getting from standing to sitting is still quite laboured.

Eden has been off nursery over Christmas, but we did take her in for a half day on Wednesday. I was a bit worried because after the long break I thought she would not like being left there but she was fine and didn't cry one bit.. another sign I think that my baby is growing up.

Another lovely thing for us was that my husbands family travelled up from London to visit for a few days and it was so nice for Eden to get together with them all. It was also nice as I didn't have to take my camera as a family member did all of the photography and took some lovely shots of Eden.
